What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and the profile details you choose to add (display name, username, biography, avatar selection). Your account is authenticated through our identity provider — we never see or store your password in plain text.
Camera and location
uConnectAR's camera and location-based features (scanning, AR placement, nearby drops) only access your camera or location when you actively use those features, and only with your device permission. We don't track your location in the background.
Connections and QR identity
Your QR identity lets other people connect with you when they scan it. You control who can scan your code and who can find you, through your privacy settings. Connections require mutual acceptance.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use third-party advertising trackers on uConnectAR.
Your control
You can review and update your profile and privacy settings at any time from within the app. To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account, contact us at hello@uconnect-ar.unify.lk.
Changes to this policy
As uConnectAR adds new features, this policy will be updated to reflect what data those features use. We'll update the date at the top of this page when that happens.
